Visit the monastery Ohanavank around the foot of Mount
Ara,Saghmosavank, Amberd Fortress ,Karmravor church in Ashtarak. Return to Yerevan.Rest in hotel.
Visit the pagan temple of Garni fortress was built in the 1st century. A trip to the Geghard Monastery Cave Monastery of 13-14 centuries. Return to Yerevan.
Tour to Echmiadzin town, the Holy See of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
Visit the Mother Cathedral of Echmiadzin,the oldest church in Armenia and one of the oldest churches in the world built in 301-303 A.D. Continue to St. Hripsime and St. Gayane Churches built in the 7th century. On the way back visit the ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral. Return to Yerevan.
Trip to Khor Virap Monastery (4th century). It’s the closest place in Armenia where you can get to the Mount Ararat as close as it is possible,tour to Noravank Monastery Complex, Areni-wine factory, taste arena wine in Areni wine factory. Selim –Noradus,Ayravank-Lake Sevan. Visit the Lake Sevan, one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in the world situated at 1900meters above sea level. It takes up 5% of the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
Noradouz- the biggest field of Armenian stone-crosses in the world.
Overnight in Sevan, rest in Blue Sevan Hotel.
Climb up the hill with stairs to visit the Monastery of Sevanavank built in the 9th century. Continuation of the trip to Dilijan, Haghartsin Monastery, Goshavank Monastery(12th -13 cc.). Overnight in Hotel Haghatsin in Dilijan.
After breakfast go to two more monasteries:Sanahin and Haghpat. The name Sanahin means: older than the other and probably refers to seniority over the Haghpat monastery, although both are about 1,100 years old. In the evening, drive to Yerevan and overnight.
Yerevan is the capital of Armenia and one of the oldest cities in the world. It stretches under the gaze of biblical mountain Ararat and resembles a beautiful gilt bowl to those flying over it. Visit Erebuni Museum and Fortress founded 782B.C. Continue to Matenadaran Manuscript Museum and a unique research institute of ancient manuscripts. A visit to Tsitsernakaberd,the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and Museum. A walk trip to Cascade, Cascade is a giant stairway in Yerevan, Armenia. It links the downtown Kentron area of Yerevan with the Monument neighborhood. Inside the Cascade, underneath the exterior steps is a couple of escalators going the length of the complex. . There are also rooms connected to some of the landings along the escalators which comprise the Cafesjian Museum of Art. The exterior of Cascade, in addition to stairs has multiple levels with fountains and sculptures. The stairs afford walkers unobstructed views of central Yerevan and Mount Ararat.
